When the Crystal Hotel first opened in 1883 as the Grand View Hotel, over 30 rooms were available for rent to visitors to Brandon. Today, the Crystal Hotel does not operate as a "traditional" hotel. Yes, there are rooms available, but these are primarily rented on a long-term basis or reserved for use by visiting bands and entertainers.
